Through engaging students across a range of disciplines with First Nations knowledges, perspectives and lived experiences, the artworks transform ways of seeing, feeling, and understanding the shared histories of Australia’s recent past.
With your support, FUMA's collections of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artwork will continue to be an incredibly important resource for current and future generations of students, researchers and the wider public.
Thanks to donor support FUMA has now secured the rare, final edition of the Look Who’s Calling The Kettle Black series by one of Australia's most acclaimed experimental artists, r e a.
This series comprises ten digitally rendered photographs that speak to oppressive policies spanning the colonial era to the mid-20th century, which saw countless Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls forced into domestic labour, many of whom never received a wage.
If you share our mission of expanding cultural understanding and reconciliation, please make a donation today.
100% of your donation will support the Flinders University Museum of Art.
