Bachelor of Sport, Health and Physical Activity
The Bachelor of Sport, Health and Physical Activity helps provide an accessible, clear pathway into the sports industry. In 2023, we've introduced 4 new majors into this degree:
These majors allow you to still gain a knowledge of working broadly in the sports industry, while also giving you the opportunity to form a clear career path aligned to the most in-demand roles. Alternatively, you can 'choose your own adventure' during the degree, and study topics which align with your unique interests and career goals.
“
No other university in Adelaide offers a sporting degree that offers a broad range of topics that allows students to find their key areas of interest and provides a vision for their future.
”
Bachelor of Business (Sports Management)
Sport is a serious business. Study a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) and develop impressive leadership, marketing, finance, strategy, and digital skills - all of which you can use as soon as you graduate, in one of the world's fastest-growing industries.
Plus, you'll learn from leading academics and sports management professionals, with hands-on placements thanks to Flinders' contacts in sporting clubs, community groups and sporting bodies across Australia.
“
The flexible learning style of engaging online lectures allows me to work [while studying] and gain experience within the sports industry.
”
Exercise Science
Join a fast-growing sector applying exercise to chronic disease management, treatment, and prevention, as well as the maximisation of sporting performance and community health.
Start your career with the Bachelor of Exercise Science or continue to further study with the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology to equip you with the skills to deliver management programs and interventions for chronic disease and injury.
“
It was a huge honour to be offered my current role in rehabilitation of paediatric brain injuries after a Flinders work placement. I don't think I will ever stop applying the things I learnt at Flinders, as every person I work with is different and needs a unique approach.
