Our new facility is purpose-built for the teaching and research of ecology & biodiversity conversation. Take a Tour of Ecology, Biodiversity & Conservation Facility Tour. Explore a wide range of animals, including reptiles, birds, and fishes. These animals are housed on our campus for carrying out projects such as Conservation management of Pygmy Bluetongues, restoration of the genetics of endangered native fish, and hands-on training in animal husbandry and welfare.
It would be exciting to see what the shark may have eaten and how scientists assess maturity and age in sharks. If watching a live shark dissection and learning about its morphology, anatomy, and ecology is something that interests you, then add it to your itinerary
Interact with our passionate, highly skilled lecturer and the student advisors at the info session. Forensic science spans many scientific disciplines, allowing you to explore areas including molecular biology, spectroscopy, data analysis, separation science and chemical criminalistics.
The speed at which blood hits a surface and the patterns that result can tell a forensic scientist a lot about what took place, including the injuries sustained. Come along to see how blood spatter patterns can be analysed and learn more about forensic science.
