Head to our world-class Trading Room, where you’ll be given imitation money to buy stocks, then given fifteen minutes to make it grow. The player with the largest growth in value will win a prize, so it’ll pay (literally) to do your best! Once your pulse settles down, head to our Accounting, Economics and Finance information session to find out how a Business degree in these areas could lead to a fulfilling career in finance - or beyond.

If you see yourself as a future small business owner, Flinders Business can get you there. Small to medium enterprises are the beating heart of Australia’s economy, and our Business information session will run you through all of the study options designed for the entrepreneurial-minded.

A great complement to this session is our Help Fight Hunger in Australia activity, where you can take a quiz to uncover how careers in Business help to source food for people in need. Social impact continually comes to the forefront of the conversation, and particularly so in relation to Business.

Marketing is your passion

Are you the next Don Draper? Your first stop at Open Days should be our Business information session, where you can explore how a degree in Business could lead to your dream job in Marketing.

After you have all the information you need, grab a coffee at Local Brew (located next door to Flinders’ Business Students Association – have a peek at the creative merchandise students have dreamt up), then head to our information session about our new City Campus, which is opening in the heart of the city on North Terrace in 2024. Trading a desk for grapevines might be a summer vacation for most, but it could be your reality on a day-to-day basis if you enter the wine industry. Wine export management is one of many Business careers you could explore, and the best place to learn more is our dedicated Wine Sensory Room. Join a tour to this room and become a taste-testing expert with our ‘Kombucha Challenge’.
