Matt is currently Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer for the Master of Physiotherapy program at Flinders University. He also works as an Advanced Scope Physiotherapist in the Emergency Department at the Flinders Medical Centre, a role he has been in for over six years.
Course Coordinator: Claire Baldwin
Claire is a researcher-teacher-clinician with experience in education from the classroom to the clinic. She also enjoys connecting research with practice. While Claire's own area of expertise is in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and work in the acute hospital setting, she has a broad network of professional connections and has held a number of leadership roles at state and national levels of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She enjoys working to support students and placement providers/supervisors to achieve excellence in patient outcomes and their own practice.
Placement Education Coordinator: Rebekah Barry
Rebekah is a physiotherapist with significant experience across acute and cardiorespiratory clinical areas. Rebekah was a Senior Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist in Cystic Fibrosis and Respiratory Care, and in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Brisbane. She is particularly passionate about physiotherapy care in chronic respiratory disease and loves sharing her enthusiasm for this with others.
Knowledge of SACE Stage 2 Biology and Physics or equivalent is assumed.

Yes, students are required to complete clinical placements in the Masters of Physiotherapy program.
Both the Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy and the Master of Physiotherapy require two years of full-time study and are not offered externally or on a part-time basis.
You can undertake either a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Therapy Studies) or a Bachelor of Exercise Science (with an allied health specialisation) and on completion, be eligible entry into the Master of Physiotherapy.
Please note, completion of these alternative degrees does not guarantee entry into the double degree or Master of Physiotherapy program and entry is competitive base on Grade Point Average (GPA).
