Graduates are equipped with practical tools to successfully start and bring to maturity new ventures or, alternatively, grow new revenue streams for employers. You will be better prepared to engage in the industries of the future.
Graduates can work as a small and medium business owner across all industries, and can also obtain employment in mid-level management as business consultants, innovation managers and consultants, sales, marketing, research and development, and as not-for profit fundraisers and community managers.

The masters program builds the global mindset and leadership capabilities required to bring together the networks, support, financial and human resources to successfully launch and scale transformative projects and ventures.
At graduate diploma and masters levels, you will get the opportunity to ‘go live’ and solve a real industry innovation challenge or launch your own start-up. Topics cover areas such as innovative and creative thinking; leveraging technology for innovation; collaboration, co-creation and crowd-based innovation; validating opportunities; innovation for social impact; new venture creation; strategic innovation; and building innovative cultures, people and organisations.
You may have the opportunity to undertake an industry innovation project or launch your own venture. You will also have access to workshops and events with experienced entrepreneurs, innovators and other relevant industry practitioners.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Enterprise must normally hold an undergraduate degree in any area or have five full-time years of entrepreneurial work experience or supervisory or managerial work experience in a relevant area (eg entrepreneurship, innovation, enterprise).
Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Innovation and Enterprise must normally hold an approved bachelor degree, the Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Enterprise from Flinders University, or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants for the Master of Innovation and Enterprise must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from an approved tertiary institution.
