The Master of Engineering Science (Software) equips you to combine the art and skill of engineering with the power of computer technology. Software engineering develops programs and products that meet the demands of the modern economy. Software engineering is a dynamic engineering discipline that is concerned with all aspects of software use, from design and development to maintenance and management.
The degree provides a two-year, unaccredited engineering qualification through which you can transition to the accredited Master of Engineering after completing at least one year of study with an average grade of credit (5.0) or greater. You can also choose to complete this degree and graduate with a Master of Engineering Science (Software).
You will be provided with study in both the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering, and the course builds on your previous experience and knowledge.
Flinders University’s postgraduate programs in engineering are multidisciplinary in approach and provide you with access to the latest technical resources.
