The Graduate Certificate in Acute Care Nursing consists of 18 units of core topics which can be completed in as little as one year. The course is designed to introduce you to the opportunity for specialised practice in a range of acute health care environments.
The Master of Nursing (Acute Care) will provide you with the opportunity to develop your advanced, theoretical, and practical knowledge and skills in acute care nursing and apply them in a range of situations. This course aims to enable you to contribute to the development of nursing and healthcare in the acute care field.
The Graduate Diploma in Acute Care Nursing consists of 36 units, including a 4.5-unit topic that introduces you to research. It is designed to provide you with the opportunity to deepen your clinical and theoretical knowledge base in acute care nursing at a leadership and advanced communication and problem-solving level within your workplace and practice.
The Master of Nursing (Acute Care) will provide you with the opportunity to develop your advanced, theoretical, and practical knowledge and skills in acute care nursing and apply them in a range of situations. This course aims to enable you to contribute to the development of nursing and healthcare in the acute care field.
Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses in their country of residence. Applicants must also provide a supporting statement nominating their area of clinical preference in acute care nursing for university sourced observational professional experience placement. The course will not lead to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
