Computers and information technology have changed the way we can deliver medical services and help people live healthy lives.
There are a range of exciting PhD opportunities aligned to the Flinders Digital Health Research Centre, South Australia’s only university with a dedicated research centre for digital health. Flinders Digital Centre Research Centre brings researchers together across a range of disciplines, including experienced nurses and health science practitioners and technical experts in computing and engineering to develop and deploy digital solutions (such as apps and online portals) to support consumers in managing their own health, and for healthcare providers in delivering services using new models of care.
We have close industry partnerships with the aged care sector and links to other research groups in health and technology.
The Flinders Digital Health Research Centre supports diversity and warmly welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates and those with lived experience of disability or marginalisation. We also welcome and encourage your own research project ideas
