The undergraduate diploma of business takes the workforce into the future through upskilling in areas of need and opportunity to transform industries and workplaces, and help professionals set up businesses.
Business upskilling is a key requirement for many professionals and employers to achieve productivity improvements in the defence supply chain, agriculture, retail, health, public and private sectors as well as advanced manufacturers.
Participants gain a University Diploma which is AQF Accredited.
The program also provides a pathway or credit into the Bachelor of Business for participants who wish to pursue further study in the future,or any of these courses:
Topics include: Accounting for Managers; Management, People and Organisations; Economics for Business; Law for Business; Marketing Principles; and Innovative and Creative Thinking: Recognising Opportunities.
The course can be taken online, with an average 3 hours online per week part-time (with after-hours options if preferred) and 7 hours self-directed study. It is a micro-credential that can be completed in 26 weeks (over two semesters) or part-time over 2 years (or a university academic year of 4 semesters).

Applicants can apply for this course using Year 12 qualifications, previous Higher Education study, TAFE/VET qualifications, or through Adult Entry (STAT/Foundation Studies/tertiary preparation course).
For applicants using their SACE (Year 12) results (or equivalent), entry is subject to achieving a minimum selection rank of 60.
