Deirdre Jordan Village is the perfect living and learning environment for students seeking a more independent lifestyle within a culturally diverse population with a strong community feel.

Each of the 90 fully-equipped, self-contained units include a common living and dining area, full kitchen (with an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle), bathroom, and bedrooms for 2-6 students.

The Deirdre Jordan Village includes a community centre (with a large common room, seminar rooms and a music room), two central laundries, and outdoor recreation and barbeque areas.

Our students have different needs and are at different stages of study. We’re happy to accommodate you—whether you need a quiet two bedroom unit during your postgraduate study or prefer to live in single-gender accommodation. Talk to us about your needs before you apply.

Getting around

Parking is available in a secure car park and a regular bus service takes residents the short distance to local shopping precincts at Marion or Blackwood, the beach and Adelaide CBD.

At Flinders Living, you’ll be part of a diverse and lively community. You’ll spend time at quiz nights, barbeques, dinners and open mic nights. But it’s not all fun and games. With so many students studying around you there’s always opportunities to engage in group study sessions and be mentored by more senior students.

The 2023 costs include:

• an advance fee of $735 (including $460 building and maintenance fee; $275 community fee)
• room rates of $260 per week

Fee due dates

Advance fees are due when an offer of accommodation is made. Full payments are required as shown below or by fortnightly direct debit.
