International applicants intending to seek employment with Flinders University should note that:

• an appointment will only be made subject to the successful candidate providing proof of valid Australian working rights
• if offered employment, a candidate will be required to notify the University of any Australian visa restrictions that may preclude them from fulfilling the terms of any contract offered by the University
• where an international candidate is sponsored by the University for a temporary residence visa, it is a condition of employment that they take out private health cover for the duration of the appointment, at their own cost.
