We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic candidate to join the Digital Health Lab to undertake PhD research under the supervision of A/Prof Niranjan Bidargaddi. Our research program focuses on shaping smart healthcare innovations for digitised world through co-design, product development & validation, and scale-up facilitation research.
This scholarship will support research within work underway in the Digital Health CRC project on enabling smart and better healthcare processes using automation. This project led by our lab in collaboration with SA Health is working with following technology platforms.
The exact PhD topic will be determined taking into account the interests, experience and prior training of the successful candidate. Possible topics include, but are not limited to designing new clinical applications and/or implementation and evaluation of current applications within the above technologies.
The scholarship will suit an applicant with training in Human Factors, Psychology, Design methods, Computer Science, Public Health, Medicine, or a Health-related field. It would also suit applicants who enjoy translating innovative technologies into clinical applications, as well as a desire to work with consumers, carers and clinicians.

This research project will be conducted at Flinders University (Tonsley, SA). The scholarship includes opportunities to participate in national and international conferences, including exposure to the CRC’s national scholar development network of approx. 150 PhD students and collaborators.
