Description
The Ferry Scholarship is funded by a bequest from the late Cedric Arnold Seth Ferry, for the purpose of promoting study and research in the scientific fields of Physics and or Chemistry. Public Trustee, as trustee of the Cedric Arnold Seth Ferry Trust, intends to offer The Ferry Scholarship to students undertaking Honours or an equivalent level study in 2022
Eligibility
The Ferry Scholarship is available to students:
- undertaking an Honours degree or an equivalent programme at Flinders University, University of South Australia or the University of Adelaide in 2022.
- able to demonstrate financial need,
- under the age of 25 years on 1 January 2022
- who are an Australian citizen.
Applicants must be eligible for enrolment in an Honours, M Phil or equivalent degree in 2022.
Applicants must have obtained, or expect to obtain in 2021 an undergraduate degree majoring in Physics and or Chemistry. Gifted students, especially with a Grade Point Average of around 6.4 or higher, are encouraged to apply.
