PhD scholarship for an industry funded research project focused on inclusive education: Establishing and Sustaining a Schoolwide Multi-Tiered System of Support Framework for Inclusive Education. The project is a long-term, five-year partnership between the Flinders University Research in Inclusive & Specialised Education (RISE) team within the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, and Riverbanks College, to support the establishment of Schoolwide Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for inclusive education. It is based on an iterative co-design approach, such that specific components and strategies to address the College’s broad aims will develop over time and in collaboration, as Riverbanks College and its priorities related to inclusive education develop. Within this project, the PhD candidate will have scope to research an area of interest that addresses tiered academic, social, emotional and/or behavioural MTSS (e.g., Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support). This scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for a suitable candidate to develop academic and applied research skills while working with a team of experienced researchers and educators in an area of national significance.
