Applications will be accepted from part-time students who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, carer responsibilities). Part-time recipients will be paid pro-rata.
Scholarship benefits are subject to the recipient maintaining a full-time study load, or a part-time study load where extenuating circumstances prevent full-time enrolment.
Benefits will be withdrawn if the recipient fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress, or withdraws, or is precluded from their program.
Leave will be permitted after completion of at least one semester of this scholarship, for a maximum of one semester only.
Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student System by the specified closing date.
Students will need to upload a written statement of approximately 500 words to demonstrate an ability and passion for the performing arts as well as an interest in pursuing a performing arts career or an interest in a doctoral program in the performing arts. When writing this you may wish to address your plans for your honours year. You may also upload up to 5 pages of attachments that support your written statement, e.g. portfolios of work or other relevent information.
