Dr Stephanie Byrne is an Epidemiologist with extensive experience analysing large linked administrative and cohort datasets including examining cumulative incidence and trends overtime, performing descriptive analysis, and using advanced statistical methods including Cox proportional hazards regression, linear mixed effects modelling, and assessing multiplicative and additive interactions. She has applied her knowledge and expertise to diverse research areas from cancers and chronic respiratory diseases to child maltreatment, youth justice involvement, and parental incarceration. Dr Byrne is currently investigating equity in rehabilitation access and outcomes for people living with dementia.
