Provide technical services and support to staff, particularly in relation to online learning.
Participate in the planning of ICT related projects, particularly in relation to online learning, and make significant contributions to project implementation and evaluation.
Support academic staff at multiple sites to fully utilize a range of appropriate interactive information and communication technologies.
Create innovative web based educational resources (multimedia, graphics, text, animations, and interactions).
Provide timely and effective advice and support to staff and students, including writing technical specifications and user guides and identifying user training needs.
Provide training for staff, including advice on design and presentation, with a particular focus on FLO (Flinders Learning Online).
Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of relevant legislation and associated policies and procedures and be able to advise staff on relevant matters.
Maintain a good working knowledge of, and the ability to respond to, the existing and emerging web technology needs of staff and students.
