Senior Research Fellow in Sleep Health

Dr Gorica Micic is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Research Fellow specialising in sleep and circadian health. Her work focuses on understanding and treating sleep disorders such as insomnia and circadian rhythm disruptions, with a strong emphasis on translating research into real-world clinical practice.
Dr Micic’s research explores how sleep affects mental and physical health and how everyday behaviours and environments shape sleep patterns. Alongside her research, she is actively involved in clinical service delivery, supervision and training. She has played a key role in developing sleep clinics, mentoring the next generation of clinicians and researchers and delivering education programs to psychologists and general practitioners to build national capacity in sleep health.
Through her work, Dr Micic aims to make evidence-based sleep care more accessible, helping people improve their sleep,wellbeing and daily functioning.
