Christiana Harous is a registered Psychologist (AHPRA) and Associate Lecturer with a PhD in clinical psychology. She has a love of learning and is passionate about using strengths-based approaches to empower individuals in therapy, classrooms and community spaces
Christiana is the Topic Coordinator for (and was involved in the topic design and curation of) WELL1003/8003 - Supporting the Mental Health and Wellbeing of Others. She has previously tutored first, second and third year psychology and criminology students in research methods, social psychology and as part of the Yunggorendi Tutorial Program.
Christiana is also part of the Psychology of Justice, Emotions and Morality lab and the Flinders Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing. Her PhD explored how the stories we create after causing harm to others can be used as a tool when "working through" feelings of guilt and shame following interpersonal wrongdoing. Presently, Christiana's research explores mental health prevention and promotion in workplaces and communities.
