Dr Charitha Perera is a Senior Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine at the Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide and a Senior Lecturer, in the Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Flinders University. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians and also has a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from the Flinders University.
He specialises in Musculoskeletal and Amputee Rehabilitation and is the topic coordinator for Muscoloskeletal Rehabilitation in the Clinical Rehabilitation Courses at the Flinders University.
