I enable high-quality research and innovation in complex technical environments, bringing a systems-level perspective to drive change. With experience spanning molecular science through to public health, I advance health and medical research that informs policy, strengthens practice and improves health outcomes. I have led and built high-performing teams and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders to translate research and innovation into real-world impact. Prior to joining Flinders University as a Research Development Manager, I held positions including Manager for SA Health COVID Response, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Ludwig Leichardt Postdoctoral Fellow and Senior Research Funding Officer at Adelaide University.

I provide strategic advice and expert support to FHMRI researchers in the preparation and submission of competitive and high-quality funding applications. Collaborating with the FHMRI leadership team, The Research Development and Support team and Partnerships team, I advance strategic initiatives and identify opportunities to secure research funding. I manage a small team, contributing to a supportive research environment within the FHMRI through Researcher Education and Development activities, HDR support and advocating for consumer and community involvement in research.
