Dr Alison Nuske completed her PhD exploring the experiences of autistic students during their transition to and first year of university. 

Alison has a Master of Disability Studies and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. She has coordinated, lectured and tutored across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate topics in the disability field. 

Alison has a range of experience working in the area of disability and social inclusion, with a diverse career spanning government, non-government, and higher education settings. Alison currently works at the University of Adelaide as the Manager of the Disablity Support team. 

Alison is passionate about improving the inclusion of neurodivergent students in higher education, by promoting knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of neurodivergence.
