Alino Sümi is an Indigenous Naga anthropologist from Naga hills, India. Sümi works on the nexus of Indigenous Communities-Heritage-Wellbeing. With a PhD on ethnoscience and postdoctoral fellowship on (im)material heritage, Sümi highlights the pressing priority of Indigenous Science and Western Science as both legitimate forms of knowledge and complementary. Significantly, to understand the Nagas’ autodidactic knowledge systems has always intrigued and maintained her research objectives.
