This bespoke program is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for you to explore everything Flinders University has to offer including our new on-campus pathway institution ‘Flinders University Academy’. You will also have an exclusive preview to our new campus Festival Plaza and our new CBD accommodation provider The Switch.
The Flinders University Agent Event will be held 23-25 November 2022 across all three university campuses: Bedford Park, Tonsley and Adelaide City along with the opportunity to explore some exciting Flinders University developments.
Your accommodation will be booked on your behalf at the Hilton Adelaide.
Return economy flights will be booked on your behalf based on the information you provide during the registration process. Please contact the event secretariat here should you need further assistance.
Confirmation of your hotel booking will be provided to you one week prior to the event.
Arrival airport transfers have been organised for participants arriving Wednesday, 23 November 2022. Please collect your luggage from the baggage carousel on the ground floor (Level 0) and meet our transport representative who will escort you to the coach for transfer to Hilton Adelaide.
Airport transfers have been organised for participants departing Adelaide on Friday, 25 November 2022.
Transportation will be arranged on your behalf for all planned program sessions and activities. Should you wish to explore Adelaide in your free time you will be responsible for your own transportation.
As event places are limited, we really want as many agents as possible to attend. We understand that sometimes things happen. If this is the case, we ask that you notify us via email as soon as possible if you can’t attend.
Cancellations must be received in writing before Tuesday, 22 November 2022, 5:00pm ACST.
Your invitation is non-transferable. If you are unable to attend the event after registering, please contact the event secretariat via email.
Your accommodation has been booked at the Hilton Adelaide, arriving Wednesday, 23 November and departing Friday, 25 November 2022.

South Australia in Spring (September to November) is awash with colour. Flowers bloom and the wildlife flourishes. The weather in South Australia warms up, as it gets closer to summer.
Average daily spring (September-November) temperatures, Adelaide - Max 21°C, Min 11°C. We recommend packing a warm jacket for the cooler temperatures. We will be doing a lot of walking during the event, please bring flat and comfortable shoes.
Following is a list of suggested items to pack for your stay in Adelaide.

Registration does not include insurance of any kind and participants shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for personal injury and loss or injury to property, including baggage during the event.
It is strongly recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the event by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever.
No responsibility is taken by Flinders University, the event secretariat, staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority for any person not holding insurance and any loss in this regard.
Please note that photographs and video will be taken throughout the program sessions and at the social events. These will be used for promotional activities including display on websites and social media platforms. If you do not want your photograph or any video footage taken, or used, you are required to formally advise the event secretariat in advance via email
Flinders University is implementing COVID-safe guidelines for the event that incorporate Australian Government Department of Health regulations and Safe Work Australia principles to safeguard the wellbeing of all participants, staff and suppliers.
Wearing a face mask during the event is not mandatory and is at your discretion, please bring masks with you.
You must be double vaccinated and will be required to display your COVID-19 Digital Certificate via your smartphone prior to entry into some of the venues during the event. Where this is not possible, a printed immunisation history statement will be accepted. In the case of a valid medical exemption, a certificate of exemption AND a recent negative PCR test no older than 72 hours will be to be provided.
If you are unwell, we ask that you please do not attend the event. Should you feel unwell at any time whilst at the event, please notify our event manager Vicky Troptsidis via email or 0422 053 013 immediately.
