Alyce is an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Research Award Fellow and head of the Gut Hormones and Health and Disease team from the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute.
As a gut researcher, Alyce’s focus is on gastrointestinal endocrinology. She is at the forefront of gut serotonin research and is ranked second in the world among published authors on enterochromaffin cell biology.
