This short course is designed for health practitioners who have completed training and achieved a Certificate of Competence in the Flinders Chronic Condition Management Program.
A 2-day workshop preparing participants to train others in the Flinders Program. This offers the opportunity to contribute to workforce, system and organisational capabilities in self-management and self-management support in chronic condition management (CCM).
The participants who complete the Flinders Accredited Trainer Program will be able to:
In order to complete the short course and be recognised as a Flinders Program Accredited Trainer, participants must fulfil certain activity requirements before, during and after the short course is conducted.
Attendance at this short course, where relevant to your clinical role, can be used as self-reported evidence of meeting CPD requirements of up to 16 hours.
Successful completion of this course can attract credit for assessment within the Flinders University Chronic Condition Management postgraduate programs.
This short course will be facilitated by the Education and Training team with backgrounds in fields such as psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy and social work.
