Research at Flinders

Discover Research Month is a captivating festival of research designed to bring together Honours and HDR students and early and mid-career researchers. 

This event promises a wealth of professional development opportunities and chances to expand your network. Prepare to be inspired by our line-up of exceptional internal and external speakers, who will be presenting engaging and topical workshops.

These workshops cover diverse subjects such as getting your project published, how to deliver a presentation to remember, strategic grant writing and mastering statistics in health research, among others.

Additionally, we have tailored sessions specifically for Honours and HDR students. These sessions include insightful discussions about exploring pathways to PhD, important milestones, and expert guidance on preparing your thesis for submission.

Join the Discover Research Month Scavenger Hunt!

Take on the challenge to uncover hidden clues, solve puzzles, and explore key locations showcasing our innovative research. Starting at Bedford Park’s Sturt Precinct, the hunt will guide you through various on-campus and virtual spots. Along the way, engage in activities, meet colleagues, and collect tokens by completing tasks, all while gaining insights into cutting-edge research.
