2019 Alumni Awards

The achievements of nine outstanding Flinders University graduates were acknowledged at the 2019 Flinders University Alumni Award ceremony. The event was held in the Mortlock Wing of the State Library of South Australia on Thursday 27 February 2020.

Recognising outstanding community contributions through their leadership, knowledge advancement, professional practice and community service, Convocation Medallists included Dr Olivia Samardzic PSM and Professor Anne Kavanagh.

Distinguished Alumni Awardees whose contributions have benefitted the local and international community through humanitarian services, professional achievement and significant roles include Dr Sukhvinder Badwal, Basia Bonkowski, Kim Cheater, Professor Liz Eckermann (1949-2019), Adjunct Associate Professor Jenny Hurley, Shona Reid and Alan Tucker.
