More than 80 graduates, industry partners and past and present staff gathered at Bedford Park on Friday 28 October 2022 to celebrate 10 years of the Master of Occupational Therapy and Master of Physiotherapy programs at Flinders.
Professor Alison Kitson, Vice President & Executive Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences welcomed guests and presentations were made by Associate Professor Lucy Lewis, Academic Lead, Physiotherapy and Dr Sandra Mortimer Occupational Therapy Lecturer standing in for co-host, Professor Stacey George, Academic Lead Occupational Therapy.
Graduates Daniel Noll and Jared Strawbridge shared their reflections on physiotherapy and Kate Nicholls shared her reflections on a successful career in occupational therapy.
Since 2012 Flinders University has graduated more than 580 students from our physiotherapy and occupational therapy programs. Graduates work in hospitals, aged care, clinics, sporting organisations and academia. Many run their own practices.

Flinders University's purpose-built inter-professional clinic Health2Go, on site at our Sturt campus gives our physiotherapy, optometry, audiology, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology and nutrition students the opportunity to work with clients from the community alongside professional clinicians to gain real-life experience in a modern multi-disciplinary environment.
